Starter Package Plus: Track&Trace location is not correct/E-Level gives strange values

23 September 2025

Due to a glitch in the software on the Starter Package Plus there is sometimes a delay between sending
of a notification from the Starter Package Plus and the moment this message arrives in the app on your phone. This makes it seem that your caravan or motorhome is still in a location from some time ago. Also, the E-Level sometimes gives strange readings.

We are currently working hard to update your software so that you can use the E-Trailer app again without any problems. We expect this software to be available in early 2026. Your system will update itself automatically.

Via Bluetooth, you can continue to use all other products without any problems.

E-Switch: Battery percentage is not properly indicated

25 July 2025

We have had several reports that the E-Switch battery percentage is not properly displayed in the App. It often displays 0%, 2% or 8% while the battery still has sufficient voltage.

If the E-Switch battery is really low, an alert will appear in the app. This warning is separate from the percentage displayed and does appear to still be working properly.

We are working on a fix for this incorrect display.

iOS: high battery usage app in background

25 April 2025

We found that the app consumes a lot of power when it is running in the background and connected to our system via Bluetooth. Especially with phones running iOS. We are working on a solution.

Temporary solution:

  • Close the app when not in use. More information on how to do this on iOS can be found on Apple website, > >
  • You can also turn off in the E-Trailer app settings that the app refreshes in the background. This is done as follows:
    1. Go to your iPhone’s general settings
    2. Go to Apps and find the E-Trailer app
    3. Click on the E-Trailer app and turn off ‘Background app refresh‘.

Subscription not activated / Subscription server failure

The connection to the subscription server has been restored and the subscriptions have been activated.

Android: E-Trailer app icon wrong

14 march 2025

Since update 2.2.113 on Android, the App icon is no longer the familiar E-Trailer Logo. After an app update, this was fixed.

E-Volt - does not update via internet

14 August 2024

The E-Volt correctly shows updates over the Internet again. Should this not be the case for you. Please check whether an update for the App is available in the Google Playstore or Apple Appstore.

E-TrackTrace / E-Movement - no push notifications if app is disabled

The push notifications have been restored. If you have indicated in the modules, that you want to receive the push notifications, please do the following:

  1. Log out of the E-Trailer app
  2. Close the app completely
  3. If necessary, check the Google Play or App Store to see if a newer version of the app is available. If so, install it.
  4. Restart the app and log in. You will now receive notifications even when the app is not active.

Starter Package Plus - reading modules via the internet

30 July 2024
We update our app. From 30 July, other modules can also be read over the internet. For the optimal experience of our products, please complete the following steps:

  1. Update the E-Trailer app in the Google Play or App Store (at least version 2.1.305)
  2. Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  3. If you have updated the app, you should also update your Starter Pack Plus. Please note: this must be done after the app update, otherwise it will go wrong!
  4. Log into the app and go to the Starter Package Plus and under General, click the Update Firmware button
  5. Wait until the entire update is complete and you get a green tick to continue. The latest version of the software for the Starter Package Plus is v1.24.304.

If you now reconnect to your system the E-Track&Trace should work again .

E-Track&Trace - cannot activate module

Update 30 July 2024 – with the release of the latest app, these issues have been fixed.

There is currently an issue for iPhone Pro users when activating E-Track&Trace. ‘Next’ cannot be clicked when E-Track&Trace is activated. We are currently manually checking daily for subscriptions that have not been processed and processing them manually. Normally this will be within 24 hours, except when a subscription is taken out on weekends or public holidays. Then it may take a little longer. We are working on a solution.

E-Switch - values do not update properly

Update 30 July 2024 – with the release of the latest app, these issues have been fixed.

The latest app found that the E-Switch values are not always displayed correctly. We are working on a solution.
