Problems connecting

I cannot connect

Check the following general points:

  • Is the Starter Package  powered. This is difficult to check with E-Suspension, as the Starter Package is built into the E-Suspension box . De beste check is controleren of de E-Level of E-Volt wel werken. You can also click on the Starter Package icon in the app and check the Bluetooth status. 
  • Does the battery still have enough voltage.  If you have a Starter Package Basic, it switches off below 10.8V. Charge the battery and try again.
  • Is Bluetooth enabled on the phone? (Android: is the pairing request accepted)?
  • Are you connected to the Internet (WiFi or 4 or 5G)?
  • Is no one else connected to the system via Bluetooth?

If all this is in order, there are also sensor-specific checkpoints:

  1. If the system is connected to a camper’s starter battery, the battery will spike when the engine starts. This will cause the module to reboot itself and it may take some time to reconnect to sensors.
  2. If necessary, switch off the entire E-Suspension system, wait a few seconds and then switch it on again. To do this, disconnect the entire ‘SMV box’ from the power to restart it. An on/off button is available for this purpose.
  3. Finally, close the app completely (also in the background) and restart it.
If the connection still fails after all these checks, please send feedback via the app to our Customer Support department. We may be able to see in it exactly what is happening. We will then contact you to discuss and solve the problem.
