Mounting and installation

Before you want to start using the E-Level, it is important to check that the Starter Package is mounted in the right place in the vehicle. Read more about this on the installation page of Starter Package Basic or Plus.
For the E-Level, it does not matter whether the main module is mounted lying down or standing up. During calibration, the system learns what is up and what is down and where the front of the leisure vehicle is.
It is important, however, that the module is mounted on a flat/stable surface so that it can move as little as possible. This would make the measurement inaccurate.

There are two methods for adding an E-Level to an account:

  1. As Starter Package
  2. As an individual module

Steps Starter Package

With a Starter Package, the E-Level (as well as the E-Volt) is automatically added to your account.

  1. Open the Starter Package box and take out the grey QR-Code card.
  2. Install the main module as indicated on the installation page of Starter Package Basic or Plus. 
  3. Make sure the Starter Package is installed and switched on.
  4. Open the E-Trailer app and log in with your account.
  5. Make sure that Bluetooth on the smartphone is on and that you have a stable internet connection.
  6. In the app, click ‘+’ at the bottom right to add the entire Starter Package (including E-Volt and E-Level) at once.
  7. Follow the steps as indicated in the app.
    During the calibration process you will be asked to raise the front of your lesiure vehicle by 15cm.

Steps individual module

  1. Open the E-Level packaging and take out the white QR-Code card.
  2. Open the E-Trailer app and log in with your account.
  3. Make sure the main module is switched on (12V)
  4. Make sure that Bluetooth on the smartphone is on and that you have a stable internet connection.
  5. Connect to the main module.
  6. Always check for updates for your system. Click here for more information on Updating the Starter Package Basic or Plus.
  7. In the app, click on ‘+’ at the bottom right to add the module.
  8. Follow the steps as indicated in the app.
    During the calibration process you will be asked to raise the front of your lesiure vehicle by 15cm.

Calibration with motorhome

For a motorhome, the E-Level can be calibrated by slightly lifting the main module on the side of the front of the motorhome, thereby simulating the front of the vehicle being raised.

There is something wrong with the QR code

Can’t scan the QR code?

It may be that you have not yet authorised the E-Trailer app to use the phone’s camera. Turn on this permission on your phone.

You receive the message QR code invalid?

You have scanned the QR code to add your product in the app and you get a notification that something went wrong. There may be a few reasons for this:

  1. You have already scanned your QR code. Then the module is has already been added to your account. Go to the main screen of the app.
    Is your module in there? Then click on it and follow the calibration steps.
  2. If you want to reinstall your modules, you do not need to scan your QR code again. You then go to the module’s settings and click Recalibrate.
  3. The QR code is not known in the database. At that point you contact us.
  4. If you bought your system second hand, the module may still be in the previous owner’s account. In that case, please contact us.

Update software

You may need to update the software on the Starter Package or your app may be out of date. See how to update your system on the page on Updating with the Starter Package Basic or Plus.

Reset & recalibrate

If you see strange values, you can reset the E-Level as follows. You do not need a QR code!

  1. Make sure you are connected to the system via Bluetooth.
  2. Go to settings of the E-Level module.
  3. Click Recalibrate.
  4. Then follow the steps in the app.
