iOS devices are experiencing module calibration issues. The new update (with fix) will hit the App Store in week 38. Apologies for the inconvenience.

E-Temperature

Replacing the battery

The E-Temperature contains one CR 2477 battery.

In general, the batteries last 2 years. If you leave the modules switched on continuously, they will send out a signal more often and the battery will also run down faster. Also, a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius (32 Fahrenheit) has a negative effect on the battery life. Therefore, always take spare batteries with you.

There is no need to reinstall the module after changing the battery. As soon as you turn it on, the app will recognise it again.
Please note that after changing the battery, the risk of corrosion on the inside of the housing is increased when the E-Temperature is used in humid conditions.

    • For the black module, do this carefully with a knife or small screwdriver
    • For the white module, unscrew the two parts from each other
  2. Take the inner part out of the housing
  3. Carefully slide the battery out of the housing and insert a new one (+ upwards)
  4. Close the E-Temperature again
    • For the black module, place the small cover on the container in the correct way. There is a line on the container and a triangle on the cover.
