E-Volt

Mounting and installation

Before you can use the E-Volt, you must muont and install the E-Connect. Read more about this on the E-Connect installation page.

There are two methods for adding an E-Level to an account:

  1. As Starter Package
  2. As an individual module

Steps Starter Package

With a Starter Package, the E-Volt (as well as the E-Level) is automatically added to your account as part of the E-Connect.

  1. Open the Starter Package box and take out the grey QR-Code card.
  2. Mount the E-Connect as indicated on the E-Connect installation page.
  3. Make sure the E-Connect is mounted and switched on.
  4. Open the E-Trailer app and log in with your account.
  5. Make sure that Bluetooth on the smartphone is on and that you have a stable internet connection.
  6. In the app, click on ‘+’ at the bottom right to add the entire Starter Package (E-Connect, E-Volt and E-Level) at once.
  7. Follow the steps as indicated in the app.
  8. Always check for updates for your system. Click here for more information on Updating.
  9. When your system is up to date, click on the E-Volt module and then on the settings.
  10. Specify the various settings here. More information can be found on the E-Volt settings page.

Steps individual module

  1. Open the E-Level box and take out the white QR-Code card.
  2. Open the E-Trailer app and log in with your account.
  3. Make sure that Bluetooth on the smartphone is on and that you have a stable internet connection.
  4. Connect with the E-Connect.
  5. Always check for updates for your system. Click here for more information on Updating.
  6. In the app, click on + at the bottom right to add the module.
  7. Follow the steps as indicated in the app.

There is something wrong with the QR code

Can’t scan the QR code?

It may be that you have not yet authorised the E-Trailer app to use the phone’s camera. Turn on this permission on your phone.

You receive the message QR code invalid?

You have scanned the QR code to add your product in the app and you get a notification that something went wrong. There may be a few reasons for this:

  1. You have already scanned your QR code. Then the module is has already been added to your account. Go to the main screen of the app.
    Is your module in there? Then click on it and follow the calibration steps.
  2. If you want to reinstall your modules, you do not need to scan your QR code again. Then go to the module settings and click on Calibrate E-Volt.
  3. The QR code is not known in the database. At that point you contact us.
  4. If you bought your system second hand, the module may still be in the previous owner’s account. In that case, please contact us.
Update software

You may need to update the software on the E-Connect or your app may be out of date. See how to update your system on the Updating page.

Reset & recalibrate

If you see strange values, you can adjust the settings. There is no special reset or reinstall button.
